Canada is home to one of the most prominent, sophisticated, and top-tier educational systems in the world. Foreign nationals are required to obtain a Study Permit for engaging in academic, professional, vocational or other education or training that is more than six months in duration at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada. In order to study in Canada you must be accepted into an accredited institution and have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay.
Full time students in approved programs are authorized to work part time during the school year, and full time during scheduled breaks up to their date of graduation. Post-graduation, a post-secondary work permit can be obtained to extend your stay in Canada.
