There are many options to book an appointment. You may call our offices at 604-572-8871 and speak to one of our helpful assistants to book an appointment. You may also drop by in person and book an appointment at the front desk of our beautiful lobby. Another option is to e-mail reception@kanglawyers.com with your request or simply fill out the submission form on our contact us page and we will reply to your inquiry promptly.
You will provide details and explain your legal issues to your lawyer. Your lawyer will clearly and honestly outline all your potential options, provide recommendations, and answer any other inquiries you may have.
Bring identification for yourself and for any individual that accompanies you. Bring all documents that you believe pertain to your legal inquiry such as refusal letters, exclusion/deportation orders, applications, Federal Court documents, paperwork with former lawyers/consultants.
The fee for an initial consultation is $285. However, this fee varies at the discretion of the lawyer. Sometimes we choose to charge no initial consultation fee at all. When we do charge a fee, it is subsumed into the cost of the overall case.
Our staff and lawyers are able to communicate in a multitude of languages and this will not be an issue.
Yes, we can arrange a teleconference and also have strategic alliances across the world as we work with individuals around the world.
In some cases, consultations over the phone may be appropriate and a teleconference can be arranged.
You can request a particular lawyer that you prefer to handle your case, however our lawyer’s specialize in particular areas and it is best to leave assignment of a lawyer to our discretion. As an added benefit, we work collaboratively on all cases and your legal issues will be looked after and considered by the entire team.
Many times, we charge a flat-rate to cover the entirety of the case work with no surprise costs. For more complex cases, hourly rates may apply with associated disbursements such as travel expenses, legal research, court fees, application fees, etc. Click our Pro-Bono section to see casework we have even done at no cost for particular clients!

You will be introduced to the legal assistants of each lawyer and provided direct line communication options with them to receive updates on your case during normal office hours and pressing inquiries will be forwarded directly to your lawyer.
